Sundays at Hope Church

Sunday morning at 10:30am we have our main gathering of the week where we hear and sing God’s word and respond to him.

Every second Sunday at 5:00 pm we have a time of prayer and praise. It complements the Sunday morning service and focuses on our life together as God’s family.  Our members come to both the Sunday morning and evening service, and you are welcome also.

Read on to find out what to expect if you’re visiting us on a Sunday for the first time.

What to Expect

We understand it can be difficult coming in to a new place for the first time, so we want to give you an idea of what goes on!

Getting Here

We’re pretty easy to find! We’re based at Mountcastle Drive South, Bingham — just opposite the doctors’ surgery, where you’ll be able to park if you’ve driven to us. To get travel directions, you can click here to open Google Maps.

On Arrival

When you arrive, someone will welcome you and point you in the right direction. Of course, if you have any questions, they’ll be happy to help you.

At 10:30 am, the service will start — often with a spoken prayer or Bible reading. We’ll often use this time to give some notices of what’s going on at the church, before a time of singing. We’ll then have our main Bible reading before someone explains it with a sermon.

You can expect the service to finish around 12.00 pm, though people will generally hang around afterwards for a drink and a chance to get to know each other better.
